Who we are
Koves Precision Tools specialises in tool manufacturing, tool application and tool management. Since 2009 the company has built its process around a cutting laboratory: we test the tool against the actual workpiece rather than selling from a catalogue.
Our manufacturing is based on German cutting-tool technology, independently developed and refined in-house. The factory operates a constant-temperature grinding workshop, which keeps dimensional consistency stable across a production run — the property that matters most to customers holding tolerances on hardened parts.
What we make
We produce superhard PCBN and PCD cutting inserts for turning and milling, together with custom and special superhard geometries developed against the customer's workpiece drawing. Superhard tools are the only product line — it is where our grade development, grinding process and application engineering are focused.
How we work with customers
Tool management and project package services exist for one reason: reducing cost per part rather than unit price. We analyse the customer's process, specify grade and geometry, establish cutting data, and manage the tool set as a process rather than treating the insert as a consumable to be reordered.
Where we are
Manufacturing is based in Chang'an Town, Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China — in the Pearl River Delta metalworking cluster, one hour from Shenzhen. Products are exported to metalworking customers worldwide.
